"Krista is the name of her business, she is a joy. From the way she shares and teaches with patience, to her ability to make it personal and fun; there are so many reasons I'm thankful for our time with her. Joshua, my son, got the gift of time working with her for about ten months. In that time, he not only grew in confience in his language skills, but also just to be himself with others. He is on autism spectrum, as well as ADHD; with that combo he can have some social aversions to say the least. Because Krista made him feel comfortable even in the scope of learning new things, he was excited to participate and would often count down to how many more days he had before he got to see her again. When we first met, she listened to my concerns about his language skills; and in turn explained what she could see that were blockers and made a plan of goals that he could reach. Making it personal, from toys to puzzles and games, he'd get to learn without making it feel like a forced classroom setting. She saw him, not just a diagnosis. Though his time with her was short, it left a lasting impact not just with his words and sentences but in his overall ability to be confident in himself. I'd highly recommend Krista to any family that has the opportunity to work with her, you are in for a joyous journey of learning new ways to help bring out your child's best."
